Onboarding Steps

  1. Create Agent(s) based on your goals (Required)
  2. Update Agent(s) with additional guidelines (Optional)

Overview

Agents are how Relixir decides what content to create and refresh to hit your SEO/GEO goals.
  • Each agent is tied to a goal you have — ranking for specific keywords or beating a specific competitor
  • Agents are triggered every week by default and propose the most impactful actions to take
  • Agents take progress snapshots on a weekly cadence to track improvement for the defined goal
Creating new blog content that is SEO/GEO optimized and refreshing your old content are the primary actions you can take to optimize your visibility on AI Search and Google. Our agents cover both.

Agent Types

Keyword-Focused Agents

Target specific keywords you want to improve rankings for:
  • Low-performing but high-intent keywords (your “low-hanging fruit”)
  • Keywords where competitors are winning
  • Keywords for new products or features

Competitor-Focused Agents

Target specific competitors you want to outrank:
  • Key competitors you’re losing deals to
  • Competitors with strong AI search presence
  • Emerging competitors in your space

Best Practices

1

Start with 3-4 Agents

Most teams start with 3-4 active agents, each focused on a different goal
2

Let Agents Run 1-2 Months

Give agents time to produce content and show results before adjusting
3

Review Weekly

Check agent proposals weekly and deploy content consistently
4

Rotate Based on ROI

After 2-3 months of strong performance, reduce topic count and spin up new agents for new initiatives

Troubleshooting

  • Check that the agent is not paused
  • Ensure the agent has a valid goal (keywords or competitor)
  • Wait for the weekly run cycle to complete
  • Review and update your Brand Guidelines
  • Add specific guidelines to the agent’s settings
  • Provide feedback by rejecting topics with a reason
Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) on the agent row and select Delete Agent. This cannot be undone.
